He is especially known as the 'King of Pop' for his powerful music, unparalleled dance skills, and sensational performances that set a new standard in music history, earning him enduring love.
The film 〈Michael〉 captures Michael Jackson's iconic performances and his legendary songs that have made a mark in global music history, promising the birth of an epic film that follows in the footsteps of 〈Bohemian Rhapsody〉. It will depict his journey from becoming the leader of the Jackson 5 with astonishing genius and star power to his relentless efforts to become a top-tier artist, as well as his honest growth story that we did not know.
Directed by Anton Fuqua, known for his impressive direction in films like 〈The Magnificent Seven〉 starring Lee Byung-hun and 〈Training Day〉, and the TV series 〈The Equalizer〉, the screenplay is by John Logan, who worked on 〈Gladiator〉, 〈The Last Samurai〉, 〈The Aviator〉, the 〈007〉 series, and 〈Alien: Covenant〉. The production is led by Graham King, who brought in 9.94 million viewers for 〈Bohemian Rhapsody〉. Notably, the role of Michael Jackson will be played by his real-life nephew and emerging musician Jaafar Jackson, adding a special touch, along with Nia Long from 〈Search 2〉, Laura Harrier from 〈Spider-Man: Homecoming〉, child actor Giuliano Cravalho who voiced in 〈Lincoln's House〉, Miles Teller from 〈Top Gun: Maverick〉 and 〈Whiplash〉, and Coleman Domingo, who was nominated for an Academy Award for 〈Sing〉 and 〈Rustin〉.
