Japanese filmmakers have sent messages of support to Korean students taking the college entrance exam.
First, director Lee Sang-il of 〈National Treasure〉, along with actors Ryo Yoshizawa and Soya Kurokawa, released a message of encouragement for the exam. In a video shared on the distributor Media Castle's social media, Ryo Yoshizawa said, "I hope all students can showcase their efforts and achieve the best results possible." Soya Kurokawa also said, "Don't be nervous and I hope you get good results," and shouted in Korean, "Good luck on the exam!" Director Lee Sang-il also shouted, "Fighting, good luck!" sending strength to the students.
Next, on November 11, Toya Kikunosuke, who voices Denji in 〈Chainsaw Man: The Movie〉, sent a message of encouragement for the exam. In a video released on the distributor Sony Pictures Korea's channel, Toya Kikunosuke expressed gratitude to the audience who loved the film and said, "I believe all students have worked hard until now. I sincerely support you to achieve good results."
The Korean College Scholastic Ability Test will be held on Thursday, November 13.
