'Predator: The Land of Death' 'Humanoid Tia & Tessa' Video Released

As 'Predator: The Land of Death' garners hot topics with Elle Fanning's dual role performance, the video for 'Humanoid Tia & Tessa' has been released. 'Predator: The Land of Death' is an action-adventure film depicting the life-and-death struggle and cooperation between the Predator Deck and the humanoid Tia to hunt the apex predator, Calisk, in a land of death that threatens all living things.

The released video captures the story of Tia and Tessa as told by Elle Fanning and director Dan Trachtenberg, drawing attention. Tia, played by Elle Fanning, is a synthetic human created by the giant corporation Weyland-Yutani, who, despite having damaged legs and being without a lower body, must cooperate with the Predator Deck to hunt the apex predator Calisk using her quick action and judgment. Director Dan Trachtenberg mentioned, "When I first conceived 'Predator: The Land of Death', I wanted to show a relationship similar to Chewbacca and C-3PO from the 'Star Wars' series through Deck and Tia." Additionally, Elle Fanning not only played Tia but also took on the role of her twin humanoid, Tessa, showcasing her talent in a dual role. Unlike the sensitive Tia, Tessa has a cold personality that ruthlessly eliminates any obstacles to completing her mission. To portray these completely different characters, Elle Fanning engaged in constant discussions with director Dan Trachtenberg. Regarding Elle Fanning's impressive dual role performance, director Dan Trachtenberg praised, "Elle's performance is amazing. She delicately captured the subtly different feeling of a humanoid compared to a human."

In the film, the Predator Deck carries Tia as if wearing a backpack, to which Elle Fanning explained, "For most of the time, I was tied to Dimitrius Shuster-Koloamatangi's back, maintaining my body in an L-shape as if I were leisurely sitting in a swing-like device." A lot of wire work was used on set to film the legless Tia character. Elle Fanning shared, "When I was tied to Dimitrius's back, I had to either sit in a sling or tie my legs with wires and pull them up." Despite the challenging filming, the characters of Tia and Tessa, brought to life by Elle Fanning's passionate performance, leave a strong impression on the audience.
