Bump of Chicken, a representative rock band from Japan, is coming to Korea for the first time in 17 years. They will take the stage as headliners at the J-Pop music festival 'WONDERLIVET 2025' on the 14th at Goyang KINTEX, marking their first performance in Korea since 2008.

Bump of Chicken expressed their excitement through WONDERLIVET on the 13th, stating, "We are really happy to finally meet our listeners in Korea again," and added, "We want to give our all in this performance and enjoy it together with the audience."

Formed in 1994, Bump of Chicken is a four-member band known for their emotional music and lyrical lyrics. Composed of vocalist and guitarist Motoo Fujiwara, drummer Masahide Oka, and others, they have been consistently active for over 30 years without any member changes since their formation.

In Korea, they are well-known for hit songs like 'Tentai Kansoku'(Tent Observation), 'ray'(Ray), and 'Acacia'(Acacia), and they are also famous for singing the original soundtrack (OST) 'Sailing Day'(Sailing Day) for the anime 'One Piece.'

The band stated that they have been able to create music together for over 30 years thanks to the joy of making sounds together and the people who cherish the music created in that way, and that this feeling has grown stronger over the years.

Bump of Chicken, visiting Korea after 17 years, expressed their desire to eat delicious Korean food and walk the streets of Korea outside of the stage. They also mentioned that they sincerely want to enjoy the WONDERLIVET festival stage, stating that even if it is a very short time, if they can genuinely enjoy it centered around music, that alone would be the greatest happiness.

The 'WONDERLIVET 2025', which runs until the 16th, will feature popular Japanese artists including Bump of Chicken, Ikimonogakari, Spyair, and also performances by domestic artists such as Lee Seung-yoon, Silica Gel, and 10cm.
