The new drama 〈Love Me〉 has revealed the script rehearsal scene.

JTBC's new Friday series 〈Love Me〉 depicts a story of a family that was a bit selfish and perhaps more ordinary, starting their own love and growing together. Director Jo Young-min, who has showcased delicate emotional direction through 〈Understanding of Love〉, 〈Do You Like Brahms?〉, and writer Park Eun-young and Park Hee-kwon, who have unraveled everyday emotions with realistic writing in 〈The Third Charm〉 and 〈Just Haven't Done My Best Yet〉, have teamed up.

The script rehearsal held in January at the JTBC headquarters in Sangam-dong was attended by director Jo Young-min, writers Park Eun-young and Park Hee-kwon, as well as main cast members Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, Lee Si-woo, Yoon Se-ah, Jang Ryul, Dahyun, Jang Hye-jin, Kim Sha-na, Lee Ji-hye, Oh Dong-min, Park Sung-yeon, and Jung Seung-gil, filling the room.

First, Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, and Lee Si-woo gathered as a family that was a bit selfish and perhaps more ordinary. Seo Hyun-jin plays Seo Jun-kyung, an obstetrician and gynecologist who harbors deep loneliness. She intricately builds the loneliness and deficiency hidden behind a decent life and a strong attitude with her unique breath and detailed diction.

Yoo Jae-myung, who plays Jun-kyung's father 'Seo Jin-ho', expresses the weary heart that has endured with a smiling face and long-standing guilt through his eyes, breath, and subtle tremors, leading the scene into quiet immersion. Lee Si-woo, who plays Jun-kyung's younger brother 'Seo Jun-seo', embodies a character in his 20s who wants to confirm love with a naivety typical of the youngest and the anxiety of being clumsy with responsibility. He expresses the emotions of a 20-something, quickly oscillating between immaturity and sincerity, anxiety and affection, with vibrant rhythm and breath.

There are people who bring seasonal changes to the hearts of the Jun-kyung, Jin-ho, and Jun-seo family. First, Yoon Se-ah plays the sociable romantic guide 'Jin Ja-young', who possesses a warm and cheerful energy that brightens the atmosphere anywhere. Yoon Se-ah naturally embodies Ja-young's liveliness with her cheerful tone and rhythmic breath. Jang Ryul plays 'Joo Do-hyun', the capable music director and the neighbor who first notices Jun-kyung's unspoken loneliness. Dahyun (from TWICE) plays 'Ji Hye-on', a character with the strength to take responsibility for her own life, who has been by Jun-seo's side like family for a long time.

Meanwhile, 〈Love Me〉 is based on the Swedish original series of the same name created by Josefin Bornebusch. It has also been remade under the same title 〈Love Me〉 in Australia on BINGE/FOXTEL. 〈Love Me〉 will air its first two episodes back-to-back on December 19 at 8:50 PM on JTBC.
