'Zootopia 2', Ginnifer Goodwin & Ke Huy Quan & Production Team Successfully Hold Virtual Press Conference.. “Our Differences Make the World More Beautiful”

〈Zootopia 2〉 shared behind-the-scenes insights, an expanded universe, and the diverse charms of the work during a virtual press conference on the 18th with actors Ginnifer Goodwin, Ke Huy Quan, director Jared Bush, and producer Yvette Merino. First, director Jared Bush explained the direction and core values of this work, stating, "The partnership between 'Judy' and 'Nick' remains at the heart of the story," and emphasized, "Maintaining the chemistry between 'Judy' and 'Nick' and the charm of various characters blending in a huge city was the top priority," raising expectations for the newly expanded universe while preserving the essence of the story.

Returning as 'Judy', Ginnifer Goodwin emphasized the chemistry between 'Judy' and 'Nick', which fans are most curious about, saying, "Thanks to the solid script." She mentioned, "During the recording process, I couldn’t hear the performances of others, including Jason Bateman, who plays 'Nick'. Nevertheless, the fact that the character chemistry was completed is a magical result of the hard work of many people." She also revealed that in this work, "'Courage', which is 'Judy's' greatest strength, will stand out even more," increasing anticipation.

Ke Huy Quan, who identified himself as a passionate fan of 〈Zootopia〉, shared his feelings about joining the Zootopia universe through the new character 'Gary'. He humorously said, "When I heard the description of the character as a venomous rattlesnake, I thought I was miscast because my voice isn’t threatening." However, he added, "Once I learned that I was a reptile stepping into 'Zootopia' after 100 years, I wanted to join quickly and was very excited. I felt that the warm heart and emotions conveyed by this character are very important." He continued, "I hope that the character, which transcends the prejudice and stigma of being a threatening snake, is delivered to the audience as playful and warm-hearted."
