Singer and Actor Minseo Perfectly Transforms into Kang Dong-won! Continuing Acting Journey with ‘The 4th Love Revolution’ and ‘Manhole’

Singer and actor Minseo made a strong first appearance in the wave original series 〈The 4th Love Revolution〉 which was first released on the 13th, playing the confident president of the computer engineering department, Kang Dong-won, from visuals to coming out. Opposing the merger with the modeling department, Dong-won not only raised his voice to persuade students but also took the lead in collecting signatures, depicting a bold campus life. Even while actively campaigning against it, he radiated a unique aura with his physicality and visuals that rivaled the modeling department, proving his popularity as 'Engineering Dong-won'.

Following this, Dong-won eagerly participated in a competition with a prize of 20 million won alongside Joo Yeon-sun (Hwang Bo-reum-byeol) and Yang Na-rae (Kwon Young-eun). Faced with the condition of forming a team of four with students from other departments, the new relationship began when Kang Min-hak (Kim Yo-han) expressed his intention to join. Returning to TV drama after a long time through 〈The 4th Love Revolution〉, Minseo proved her enhanced acting skills, increasing the immersion of the drama. Meanwhile, Minseo will also meet theater audiences through the movie 〈Manhole〉 which was released on the 19th. 〈Manhole〉 is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by writer Park Ji-ri, depicting the deep thrill drama of high school student Sun-oh (Kim Jun-ho) who lives his daily life while swallowing his pent-up wounds and faces unexpected events, falling into a dilemma. Minseo played the role of Cha Hee-joo, Sun-oh's girlfriend who dreams of becoming a beautician, delicately expressing a character with a solid and deep side, as well as a bold yet warm inner self, maximizing immersion and is expected to leave a deep impression on the audience.

Minseo previously began her full-fledged acting career with the web drama 〈It’s Okay to Be Sensitive〉 Season 2 and 〈Anyway, Anniversary〉. After that, she challenged her first terrestrial drama with KBS 2TV 〈Imitation〉, and recently returned with 〈The 4th Love Revolution〉. Last year, she made her film debut with the movie 〈1980〉, and 〈Manhole〉 is her second feature film.
