'Far Cry' Drama Production at FX

FX is ramping up production for the 'Far Cry' drama adaptation.

The game series 'Far Cry' announced its live-action adaptation through its official social media channels. According to the post, FX will be in charge of production and it will be released on the OTT platform Hulu.

Each installment of 'Far Cry' deals with a different story, but they all share the concept of a protagonist who survives alone after being separated from their group, fighting against hostile forces around them. Particularly from the third installment, the core idea remains that the protagonist is dropped into an area where a dangerous individual holds absolute power and must survive against them, with the main series currently having six installments released.

The live-action drama 〈Far Cry〉 seems to choose to take the concept rather than adapting the content of the existing game. The production announcement post mentioned "completely new environments and new characters."
