NCT Jeno and Jaemin Challenge Acting in Baseball-Themed Short Drama 'Wind Up'

Group NCT members Jeno and Jaemin will meet viewers through acting.

The drama 〈Wind Up〉 starring Jeno and Jaemin is a sports coming-of-age drama that depicts the sparkling and pure friendship between a high school baseball pitcher who cannot throw a strike and a transfer student who claims to be his manager.

Jeno plays the role of ‘Woojin’, a once-promising pitcher, while Jaemin portrays the transfer student ‘Taehee’ who appears before Woojin one day, promising to portray the relationship and narrative that the two boys build through baseball in a warm and sincere manner. Notably, this is Jeno's first step as an actor. Jaemin previously depicted a youthful story in the JTBC4 drama 〈How to Hate You〉 in 2019.

Meanwhile, the drama 〈Wind Up〉, which is drawing attention due to the participation of Jeno and Jaemin, is the new work of director Kim Sung-ho, who directed Netflix series 〈Move to Heaven〉 and KBS drama 〈The Real Deal〉, and is a collaborative production by SM Entertainment and Take One Company, set to be released in the first half of 2026 in short drama format.
