The film 〈Mangnae-in: The Faceless Killers〉, adapted from the bestselling mystery novel by Chinese-speaking author Chan Ho-kai, is set to be released on the 17th of next month. This work is the last film featuring actor Kang Seo-ha, who passed away from stomach cancer last July.

The movie depicts the journey of an older sister and a hacker detective who set out to uncover the truth behind the death of the sister's younger sibling, who lost her life due to malicious rumors online. Kang Seo-ha plays the role of the older sister, So-eun, who seeks to reveal the unjust death of her younger sister, Ji-eun, showcasing delicate emotional acting.

The role of Jun-kyung, a genius hacker and private detective, is played by actor Kim Min-kyu. The two protagonists gather clues by interviewing their school classmates and embark on a relentless pursuit to uncover the identity of the anonymous rumor spreader.

Director Shin Jae-ho, who took the megaphone, debuted in 2004 with 〈My Love, Sassy〉 and previously wrote the script for the horror thriller 〈4th Period Mystery Area〉 in 2009. Director Shin expressed his condolences, stating, "Actor Kang Seo-ha stood out for her deep analysis and research of her character based on her solid acting skills," and added, "I hope she becomes an actress who remains in the audience's memory for a long time."
