Next Generation Star Discovery! SM to Hold Global Audition Starting January 10, 2026

SM is preparing a global audition to find stars that will captivate the world.

SM Entertainment announced on December 1 that it will hold the '2026 SM GLOBAL AUDITION' starting January 10, 2026. The '2026 SM GLOBAL AUDITION' will take place in 21 regions worldwide, starting from Busan, South Korea, and including Thailand, Japan, China, the United States, Australia, and more.

The '2026 SM GLOBAL AUDITION' will accept pre-registrations starting December 1 and is aimed at individuals born between 2007 and 2015. This large-scale global audition, which has a history and tradition dating back to 2006, has produced currently active artists such as Red Velvet's Wendy, Joy, NCT's Johnny, Yuta, Ten, Mark, Renjun, Kun, Yangyang, Riku, and Hatsuhatsu Carmen, attracting high interest from aspiring K-POP stars as well as fans both domestically and internationally.

Applications for the United States and Australia will be available starting March 23.
