Scarlett Johansson revealed the embarrassing history of running away on her first date with her now-husband, 'SNL' star Colin Jost.

In an appearance on NBC's popular talk show 'Today with Jenna & Friends' aired on the 2nd (local time), Johansson shared her awkward dating stories during a conversation with host Jenna Bush Hager.

Johansson recalled her first meeting with her husband Colin Jost, whom she married in 2020, saying, "It was really not smooth at all."

She confessed, "When Colin seemed to suggest a second date during our first date, I was so embarrassed that I ended up calling the babysitter to make an excuse and left early," making the studio burst into laughter.

She continued, "Later, my husband said, 'I thought our relationship was over at that point. You acted so strangely,'" conveying the awkward atmosphere of that time.

The reason Johansson was so flustered was due to her unique dating style. She referred to herself as a 'Serial Monogamist' and explained, "I've only been in serious relationships my whole life, so I've hardly ever gone on casual dates or gotten to know someone over dinner."

In fact, Johansson was married to Ryan Reynolds in 2008 and Romain Dauriac in 2014, and after her divorces, she has continued serious relationships without any gaps.

Johansson revealed that she once disappeared during another blind date while moving to a party because she couldn't handle the pressure. She joked, "I hope he met his future wife at the party."
