An Bo-hyun X Jung Eun-chae, Becomes a Chaebol and a Detective... 'Flex x Cop 2' Set to Air in 2026

SBS's representative cider investigation drama 〈Flex x Cop〉 has officially confirmed the production of season 2 and will be coming to home screens in 2026.

On the 3rd, SBS stated, "Director Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Ba-da, who led the success of 〈Flex x Cop〉 season 1, are teaming up again, and actors An Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae have been confirmed as the leads." Actor An Bo-hyun will reprise his role as 'Jin Yi-soo', a third-generation chaebol and parachute detective. Jin Yi-soo is an unprecedented character who utilizes his immense wealth, connections, and specialized brainpower for fun in crime eradication.

In season 2, Jin Yi-soo completes formal training at the police academy and returns to the violent crimes unit 1. While maintaining his signature 'tanghulu hair' and bling-bling luxury suit fit, he is expected to show a more developed side with a sense of duty as a true detective and camaraderie.

The biggest change in season 2 is the addition of the new protagonist, Jung Eun-chae. Jung Eun-chae plays 'Joo Hye-ra', the new team leader of the violent crimes unit 1, who is a former ace from the police department's anti-terror team. Joo Hye-ra is known as the 'devil instructor' who was harsh on Jin Yi-soo during their time at the police academy. The 'great collaboration' between the two, who reunite as team leader and team member from their instructor-trainee relationship, is a key point of interest this season.
