Actors Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Cheong-ah have been cast as three female lawyers in the mystery thriller drama 〈Honor〉. The 〈Honor〉 will be presented as a Genie TV original and is based on a Swedish drama of the same name, depicting the story of three lawyer friends who work at a law firm specializing in representing female crime victims, confronting past secrets and a huge scandal that shakes their lives again. The project is planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by How Pictures, directed by Park Geon-ho, and written by Park Ga-yeon. It is currently in production with a goal for release in the first half of 2026, and the casting of the three actors alone has generated great expectations.

Lee Na-young will play the role of ‘Yoon Ra-young’, the representative lawyer of the law firm with excellent eloquence and external influence. Jung Eun-chae will portray ‘Kang Shin-jae’, showcasing her innate charisma and cool-headedness. Lee Cheong-ah is also expected to show a new acting transformation as a female lawyer who joins the strong solidarity and determination of the three friends, facing their respective wounds and secrets while cooperating.

This drama focuses on the stories of lawyers who help victims of sexual crimes and represent the voices of the socially vulnerable, gaining attention as a ‘strong narrative of women’s solidarity’ adapted to fit domestic sentiments. The original Swedish 〈Honor〉 was a highly popular drama in Europe, and the Korean remake is expected to present a realistic thriller that reflects bold themes and social messages in line with domestic sentiments.
