Eum Moon-seok, Kang Ki-young, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Jin-young to Star in Action Film 'H-521' (Tentative Title)

Actors Eum Moon-seok, Kang Ki-young, Kim Ji-eun, and Jung Jin-young have confirmed their roles in the action film 〈H-521〉 (tentative title) and have begun filming.

On the 4th, the film 〈H-521〉 team announced that casting has been finalized and filming commenced in Almaty, Kazakhstan, since last November. The film 〈H-521〉 is an action piece set against the backdrop of Almaty, Kazakhstan, where location shooting is currently taking place.

Directed by Park Ruslan, whose feature film debut 〈Hana An〉 was invited to the competition section of the 64th Locarno Film Festival, won the NETPAC Award at the Hawaii Film Festival, and received the Best New Director Award at the Taipei Film Festival, he has also been invited to the Busan International Film Festival. Additionally, he proved his directorial skills early on by winning the New Currents Award at the 25th Busan International Film Festival with 〈Three: Not Over Yet〉.

In addition, actors Eum Moon-seok, Kang Ki-young, Jung Jin-young, Ko Seung-hwan, and Hyun Bong-sik will provide a solid foundation, while Kim Ji-eun, who has shown her charming appeal in works like 〈Check-in Hanyang〉, 〈Mom's Friend's Son〉, and 〈One Thousand Won Lawyer〉, along with rising star Kang Shin, who recently made a mark in the Wavve original 〈Fourth Love Revolution〉 and CJ ENM's Open Project 〈Recipient〉, will showcase new chemistry.

The film 〈H-521〉, which has begun filming in Kazakhstan, is set to be released next year.
