BTS Jungkook Becomes First Korean Solo Artist to Grace 'Rolling Stone' Cover

BTS Jungkook has been selected as the cover model for the Korean, UK, and Japanese editions of the American music magazine Rolling Stone, as announced by his agency Big Hit Music on the 9th.

For the first time since its inception, Rolling Stone recently unveiled a solo cover image of Jungkook, created in collaboration with Korea, the UK, and Japan. Notably, Jungkook is the first Korean solo artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone UK.

The magazine features an in-depth interview that includes a photo spread along with Jungkook's activities, musical direction, and vision.

Jungkook's photo spread has also been released as digital covers for Rolling Stone in the US, France, India, the Philippines, and China. In total, he has adorned the covers of Rolling Stone in 8 countries when combining print and digital covers.

In the interview, Jungkook expressed, "Now is a time for a new leap. I want to continue evolving while trying new things," adding, "I want to show the various sides of myself. I aspire to be an artist who creates trends rather than being swept away by them, and a limitless artist."

Recently, Jungkook surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams for his solo songs released under his name on Spotify, marking a record for a Korean solo artist.

Additionally, his solo hit song 'Seven' has recorded 2.6 billion cumulative streams, making it the first single by a Korean artist to achieve this milestone, proving his unique position in the global music market.
