First, Hyun Bin, who plays the role of the Central Intelligence Agency section chief Baek Ki-tae, stated, “I pondered a lot about where the desire of ‘Baek Ki-tae’ to go all out until the end came from,” “I chased the point where one must survive in an era where wealth and power become justice. There is personal success, but there is also the responsibility of being a head of the family to protect my family, and there were many emotions and thoughts underlying this.” This gave insight into the complex inner world and emotional line of the character. Jung Sung-il, who plays the presidential security chief Cheon Seok-jung, introduced his role by saying, “‘Cheon Seok-jung’ is the top figure under the Central Intelligence Agency, who does not trust people well and has lived only thinking of his own success,” raising expectations for a character with a strong impact. Kang Gil-woo, who plays the action leader of the gang ‘Manjae-pa’ Gang Dae-il, Noh Jae-won, who plays Central Intelligence Agency section chief Pyo Hak-soo, and Park Yong-woo, who plays Busan branch director Hwang Guk-pyeong, also shared, “I acted following the aura of Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung sunbaenims,” “Acting in such a realistic location is a rare opportunity,” “Discussing with the director, just acting made the picture come out,” conveying the perfect behind-the-scenes story from the actors, director, and production, raising expectations for the work.

Director Woo Min-ho also stated, “The set was really filled with desire. The power of the actors was the greatest, and my direction was to trust the actors first. I believed that they could properly convey the desires and madness of that era to the viewers, so showing that trust to the actors on set was a key aspect of my direction,” crediting the actors for perfectly embodying the intense energy-filled characters and driving the powerful narrative. Furthermore, he mentioned, “We filmed it as if we were making a movie. There was no difference in treating this work as an OTT series compared to previous works. I hoped for a level of completeness that was as good as or better than the works I had filmed before.”, “Among many excellent Korean dramas, I dare say that this work does not fall short in terms of quality compared to other works,” referring to the production process and the efforts of the actors and staff to achieve cinematic quality for the six-episode series, enhancing trust in the work's completeness.
