Mnet's flagship hip-hop audition program 〈Show Me the Money〉 is returning for its 12th season. Mnet officially announced on the 16th that the premiere date for 〈Show Me the Money 12〉 is set for Thursday, January 15 at 9:20 PM.

〈Show Me the Money〉 has been Mnet's signature program since its first broadcast in 2012, discovering rappers who represent the domestic hip-hop scene, such as Loco, Swings, and BewhY.

The producer lineup for the twelfth season includes prominent names like Zico, Crush, Gray, Loco, Jay Park, Hucky Shibasaki, Lil Moshpit (Lee Hwi-min), and Jay Park. Each team will compete to discover new hip-hop stars based on their unique styles and musical capabilities.

Notably, this season marks the first time that 〈Show Me the Money〉 has been co-produced with the online video service (OTT) platform Tving. This collaboration significantly enhances viewer accessibility, as 〈Show Me the Money〉 has traditionally been broadcast primarily on cable channels.

The broadcast will be simultaneously released on Mnet and Tving starting January 15 next year. Tving subscribers will be able to watch Show Me the Money 12 in real-time without a cable channel.

〈Show Me the Money〉 has garnered intense interest from hip-hop fans every season with its sensational stages and the discovery of rookie rappers. Season 12 is also expected to bring a new wave to the Korean hip-hop scene based on its strong producer lineup and simultaneous OTT release.
