Joohoney, the main rapper of the group MONSTA X, will make his solo comeback in early January next year.

His agency, Starship Entertainment, stated on the 17th, "Currently, Joohoney, a member of MONSTA X who is on the Jingle Ball tour in the United States, is in the final stages of preparation aiming for a comeback in early January," adding, "We are putting our utmost effort into showcasing Joohoney's diverse charms, so please look forward to it."

This comeback marks his solo activity after about 2 years and 8 months since the release of his first mini album 'LIGHTS' in May 2023. He received praise for completing a genre called 'Joohoney' by filling the album with self-composed songs during his previous activities, and he is expected to prove an even more expanded musical spectrum and deepened skills as he approaches his 10th debut anniversary with this new release.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X, to which Joohoney belongs, is currently participating in the '2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour' touring major cities in the United States, and will conclude the tour schedule with a performance in Miami on the 20th. Following that, they will hold a new world tour 'THE X: NEXUS' at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from January 30 to February 1, 2026, and will embark on full-scale global activities from the new year.
