Walt Disney Company Korea announced that on January 7, 〈Tron: Ares〉 will be released worldwide through the streaming service Disney+. 〈Tron: Ares〉 is a visual action blockbuster that depicts an uncontrollable crisis that begins as the highly intelligent AI weapon 'Ares' (Jared Leto) crosses over into the real world.

Reflecting the current trend where AI technologies like ChatGPT have become commonplace, the premise that an AI program with a physical presence threatens humanity provides audiences with deep immersion and fear. The technical limitation of Ares, which can only remain in the real world for 29 minutes, and the narrative of programmer Eve Kim (Greta Lee) trying to overcome this limitation are key elements that maintain the tension of the play until the end.

In 〈Tron: Ares〉, method acting master Jared Leto plays the lead role of 'Ares', showcasing the unique cool charisma of artificial intelligence. Additionally, Korean-American actress Greta Lee, who has risen to Hollywood prominence with 〈Past Lives〉, plays the genius programmer Eve Kim, displaying a familiar presence to domestic fans, including Nam Joo-hyuk.
