'K-Pop Demon Hunters' Wins 2 Awards at the Critics' Choice Animation Awards

Korean-American director Maggie Kang's K-Pop animation has toppled the stronghold of animation giants Disney and Pixar. At the '31st Critics' Choice Awards' held on the 4th (local time) in Santa Monica, California, the Netflix animation 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 (hereafter 〈KPDH〉) swept the Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song awards, achieving a double victory.

This award is particularly significant. 〈KPDH〉 beat out global animation contenders such as Disney's 〈Zootopia 2〉, Pixar's 〈Elio〉, 〈In Your Dream〉, and 〈Arco〉 to claim the honor in the animated feature category. Additionally, it won the Best Original Song award for the soundtrack 'Golden', marking its double win.
