BTS to Make Full Group Comeback with Regular 5th Album on March 20... Capturing 'The Current BTS'

Global group BTS will make a full group comeback with their regular 5th album, which includes a total of 14 tracks, on March 20 at 1 PM, as announced officially by their agency Big Hit Music on the 5th.

BTS announced the release of their regular 5th album through the fan platform Weverse at midnight on the same day.

This album release comes 6 years and 1 month after the 4th album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' released in February 2020. It will be their first full group release in 3 years and 9 months since the anthology album 'Proof' released in June 2022.

Big Hit Music stated, "As a team that has expressed their thoughts through music since their debut, we have put great effort into capturing 'The Current BTS' this time as well," and added, "We focused on album production in the second half of 2025, reflecting each member's thoughts in the music and setting the direction of the album together."

The agency explained, "Each track contains the emotions and concerns the members felt during their journey, and you can also feel the gratitude towards the 'ARMY' (fandom name) who have waited a long time for the full group activities. The stories contained in all the tracks are the narrative of BTS and a message to the fans who have consistently been by their side."

BTS is set to reveal their world tour schedule on the 14th. The new world tour is expected to be a large-scale tour, approximately 4 years after the 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' concert that ended in Las Vegas, USA in April 2022.

To promote their comeback, BTS has also launched a new official website (2026bts.com). Information related to the new album and world tour will be released sequentially on the website.
