TVING and MBC are joining forces to dominate the content market.
On January 5, TVING solidified its partnership with MBC by newly opening the 'MBC News & Current Affairs' special hall. In this special hall, viewers can watch live broadcasts of MBC's flagship news program 'News Desk' and the morning news 'News Today', and access VOD of major current affairs programs such as 'PD Notebook', 'Straight', and '100 Minutes Debate' 24 hours a day, enhancing user accessibility and choice.
Prior to this, TVING launched MBC's entertainment content service starting January 1. Popular MBC entertainment programs such as 'Extreme 84', 'New Director Kim Yeon-kyung', and 'All-Seeing Companion' have been released, and starting next week, a variety of entertainment content tailored to user preferences, including 'Oh Eun-young Report - Marriage Hell 2', 'Midnight Horror Stories Season 4~5', and 'Tae Gye Il Ju 1~3', will be sequentially unveiled. Additionally, viewers can immediately access new MBC dramas such as 'Judge Lee Han-young', which premiered on the 2nd of this month, and the latest daily drama 'First Man', broadening their choices in the drama content field.
By strengthening MBC's content, TVING has emerged as an OTT platform equipped with live news from all three major terrestrial broadcasters, and has also expanded the spectrum of its content.
