Netflix 'The Dealer' Casting Confirmed... Jung So-min, Ryu Seung-beom, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ryu Kyung-soo to Appear

Actress Jung So-min and Ryu Seung-beom have announced their return in the new Netflix series 〈The Dealer〉. Netflix officially announced on the 14th that Jung So-min, Ryu Seung-beom, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Ryu Kyung-soo have been cast in the original series 〈The Dealer〉.

〈The Dealer〉 is a crime thriller where casino ace dealer Jung Geon-hwa dives into the dangerous world of gambling to reclaim the funds for his honeymoon home that were lost to a scam. It is expected to unfold a tense narrative centered around casinos and gambling.

Jung So-min plays the character Jung Geon-hwa, a casino dealer skilled in customer service but whose marriage plans are disrupted after being scammed out of her honeymoon home. Ryu Seung-beom portrays Hwang Chi-soo, who survives by hustling and gambling in the casino and joins Geon-hwa's plan.

Lee Soo-hyuk takes on the role of Jo Joon, a professional player who dominates the casino table with his exceptional skills and poker face, while Ryu Kyung-soo plays Choi Woo-seung, Geon-hwa's boyfriend and a detective in the violent crimes unit, forming a diverse character dynamic.

The direction is led by Choi Young-hwan, who has worked as a cinematographer on films such as 〈Smugglers〉, 〈Veteran〉, 〈Tazza: The High Rollers〉, and 〈The Thieves〉. Notably, Hwang Dong-hyuk, who created the 〈Squid Game〉 series, is participating as a planner and producer.
