Netflix 'Death Game' Premieres on the 28th... Lee Sedol and Pengsoo to Appear

Netflix announced on the 14th that it will officially premiere its new variety show 〈Death Game: Bet 10 Million Won〉 (hereafter 〈Death Game〉) on the 28th at 5 PM.

This program, directed by Kim Tae-ho's production company TEO, presents a new concept brain survival format that determines the winner and loser through a single 1-on-1 match.

The cast includes former professional Go player Lee Sedol, former pro gamer and broadcaster Hong Jin-ho, broadcaster Yuri Sa, professional poker player Seven High, travel YouTuber Pani Bottle, Netflix variety show 〈Culinary Class Wars〉 winner Chef Kwon Sung-jun (Napoli Mafia), actor Park Sung-woong, and popular character Pengsoo, featuring stars from diverse fields.

As the best talents from each field gather to engage in strategy and psychological warfare, the program is expected to amplify its tension and entertainment. In particular, the brain battles of the cast members who have excelled in strategic thinking fields such as Go, gaming, and poker will be a key viewing point.

Joining as commentators are e-sports specialist caster Park Sang-hyun and broadcaster Jang Dong-min, who has won multiple survival programs including 〈The Genius〉 and 〈The Game of Blood〉.

〈Death Game〉 will simultaneously release episodes 1 and 2 on Netflix at 5 PM on the 28th, followed by a weekly release of one episode every Wednesday at 5 PM.
