
Ahn Seong-jae shared his thoughts on the craze of 〈Black and White Chef〉.
On January 21, Netflix successfully held the 'Next on Netflix 2026 Korea' event at the Conrad Seoul Hotel. The event featured key figures from major works of 2026, including Jeon Do-yeon from 〈Possible Love〉, Nam Joo-hyuk from 〈Donggung〉, Son Ye-jin from 〈Scandal〉, Park Eun-bin from 〈Wonderfuls〉, and Chef Ahn Seong-jae from 〈Black and White Chef〉, who participated in a panel talk.
During the panel talk, Chef Ahn Seong-jae said, "In Season 2, it was really cool and fun to see 100 chefs who are very charming and skilled at cooking, and as a judge, I found it really impressive and enjoyable as a viewer." He shared his thoughts on the recently concluded 〈Black and White Chef〉 Season 2, stating, "Through 〈Black and White Chef〉, we are able to discover chefs we didn't know about, and as we get to know them, it's great that many people can experience something new. I am truly grateful as a member of the food service industry for the interest in this wonderful profession, for coming to dine, and for having various experiences." This drew significant attention regarding the food service craze brought about by the show.
Meanwhile, 〈Black and White Chef〉 has recently confirmed the production of Season 3.
