A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Prequel to Game of Thrones, Premiering Every Wednesday on Coupang Play

HBO original new series 〈A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms〉 is now available in Korea.

On the 21st, the HBO series 〈A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms〉 premiered on Coupang Play. 〈A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms〉 is a prequel to 〈Game of Thrones〉 and is based on the story of 〈Dunk and Egg〉. Set about 100 years before 〈Game of Thrones〉, it follows the young and naive knight 'Ser Duncan' (played by Peter Dinklage) as he meets the young squire 'Egg' (played by Dexter Sol Ansel) and travels through the Seven Kingdoms. The story is set in a time when House Targaryen ruled the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon had not yet faded. 'Ser Duncan' and 'Egg' face fateful events, powerful enemies, and perilous adventures. The original author George R. R. Martin is directly involved in the writing and production, capturing thrilling sword fights, tournaments, encounters between nobles and commoners, and moments filled with warmth and humor through character-driven narratives.

〈A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms〉 consists of a total of 6 episodes. 〈A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms〉 will premiere every Wednesday at 8 PM on Coupang Play starting January 21st.
