Director Kim Tae-yong shared the viewing points of 〈Number One〉.

On the afternoon of the 29th, a press screening and press conference for the film 〈Number One〉 took place at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall. On this day, director Kim Tae-yong and actors Choi Woo-shik, Jang Hye-jin, and Gong Seung-yeon responded to questions from the press.

The film 〈Number One〉, set to be released on February 11, tells the story of Ha-min (Choi Woo-shik), who begins to see a number decreasing each time he eats his mother's food, and learns that when the number reaches 0, his mother Eun-sil (Jang Hye-jin) will die, prompting him to try to protect her.

Director Kim Tae-yong summarized 〈Number One〉 by saying, "I thought about why young generations today might have resistance to Korean films, and I think it's because of the way sadness is conveyed. This film is not one that cries before the audience, but rather one that waits quietly beside them until they cry." He also mentioned that the focus of his direction was on character-driven storytelling, ensuring that the three characters, Ha-min, Eun-sil, and Ryeo-eun (Gong Seung-yeon), were clearly portrayed rather than relying on cinematic techniques.

The film 〈Number One〉 will be released on February 11.
