‘Return After 2 Years and 8 Months’ Kim Sung-kyu Unveils First Piece of Mini Album ‘OFF THE MAP’

Boy group Infinite's Kim Sung-kyu has officially started his comeback by revealing part of the concept for his new album.

His agency, Billions, released the first piece of concept photos for Kim Sung-kyu's mini album ‘OFF THE MAP’ on the official SNS on the 2nd. This solo album release comes approximately 2 years and 8 months after the mini album ‘2023 S/S Collection’ released in June 2023.

In the released photos, Kim Sung-kyu completes a serene atmosphere in an empty space composed only of walls and floors in a black and white mood. Standing under the lighting coming from the ceiling or sitting on a chair gazing straight ahead evokes both restrained emotion and immersion.

In particular, the light and shadow effects contrasting with the monochrome images reminiscent of rough film texture capture Kim Sung-kyu's unique atmosphere even more vividly. His gaze, which expresses emotions calmly rather than excessively, and his natural poses further heighten curiosity about the new music he will present through the new album.

Previously, Kim Sung-kyu piqued fans' curiosity by revealing a veiled scheduler along with the phrase ‘OPEN ANYTIME!’. This photo is also released as an extension of the empty scheduler promotion, continuing to build anticipation.
