'Beast Idol' Returns... 2PM to Hold Full Concert at Tokyo Dome After 10 Years

The group 2PM will return to the 'dream stage' Tokyo Dome to celebrate their 15th anniversary of debut in Japan.

◆ A Promise After 10 Years, 'THE RETURN'

JYP Entertainment announced on the 2nd through their official SNS channels that they will hold a solo concert 〈2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert "THE RETURN" in TOKYO DOME〉 to celebrate 2PM's 15th anniversary of debut in Japan, along with a teaser video and poster.

According to the announced schedule, 2PM will hold a solo concert at Tokyo Dome on May 9 and 10, meeting with local fans. The title of this performance, 'THE RETURN', carries a special meaning as it marks their return to the same venue after about 10 years since their last concert at Tokyo Dome before the members enlisted in the military in 2016.

◆ Together Yet Apart, the Synergy of Six

This concert is the first full group performance in about 2 years and 7 months since the 〈It’s 2PM〉 concert held at Tokyo Ariake Arena in October 2023.

Currently, the six members Jun. K, Nickhun, Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, Lee Junho, and Hwang Chan Sung are active as top-class stars in various fields including music, drama, film, entertainment, and advertising. Despite their busy individual activities, they have come together to celebrate their 15th anniversary of debut in Japan and are expected to showcase the enduring presence of the 'original beast idol' through numerous hit song performances.

With the announcement of the concert, the response from local fans in Japan is also enthusiastic. Especially since it is a festival held just before the local debut anniversary (May 18), a fierce ticket battle is anticipated. The pre-sale for the Japanese fan club for this concert starts today (2nd), drawing the attention of fans.
