The Top Stars of J-POP Gather! Unprecedented Killer Dance Action Movie ‘Specials’ Releases on March 13!

Featuring Daisuke Sakuma from J-Pop's top group Snow Man, Yuta Nakamoto from NCT 127, along with Gippei Shiina, Hitoshi Ozawa, and Sho Aoyagi, this casting spans generations.

The movie ‘Specials’ is an unprecedented dance action film featuring five killers with a special goal: "The target is the assassination of a key figure, the specialty is murder, and the mission is a dance competition challenge?!" This film combines killer action with dance performances, showcasing a unique genre. ‘Specials’ is set to release domestically on March 13 (Friday), and has unveiled its debut poster and trailer. Directed and written by Eiji Uchida, who swept the Japanese Academy Awards with ‘Midnight Swan’, this work is completed with stylish direction.

The released debut poster captures the attention with the golden ‘Specials’ logo and the faces of the five killer dance team members peeking out from behind the curtains. The mirror ball and Japanese neon lights in the background evoke the image of a dazzling stage performance, heightening expectations for the unique worldview and show they will present. The debut trailer, which was also released, begins with the line, “The best killers have been summoned,” and unfolds the story with a proposal to form a dance team. The mission given to the killers is singular: to eliminate a key figure from the dark world on the dance competition stage. However, they are a group of clumsy killers who came together because of their ‘dance experience’ in the past, bringing unexpected laughter and frustration during the practice process.

After the appearance of the dance prodigy girl Asuka, the killers gradually begin to realize the rhythm of dance and teamwork. The lines “We are members,” and “If you betray us, you die” foreshadow action, humor, and intense teamwork. Notably, the sensational casting combination spanning generations, including Daisuke Sakuma from J-Pop's top group Snow Man, Yuta Nakamoto from NCT 127, Gippei Shiina, Hitoshi Ozawa, and Sho Aoyagi, adds fresh energy to the work. The new action style that combines gunfire and choreography, along with Snow Man's new song ‘Odorouze! (オドロウゼ!)’ featured in the dance performance, completes the unique charm of ‘Specials’. The unprecedented killer dance action movie ‘Specials’ will be released in theaters on March 13 (Friday).
