BTS's 5th Studio Album 'Arirang' Tops Spotify Pre-Save Chart for 5 Consecutive Weeks

BTS's 5th studio album 'Arirang' is set to be released on the 20th of next month and has recorded 5 consecutive weeks at number one on Spotify's 'Countdown Chart Global'.

The agency Big Hit Music announced on the 19th that 'Arirang' has maintained its number one position since topping the chart on January 21. The 'Countdown Chart Global' is an indicator that aggregates pre-save figures for albums and singles before their release, serving as a gauge for global fans' anticipation for the music.

'Arirang' has received a lot of attention, surpassing 3.45 million pre-saves on Spotify. The 5th studio album is scheduled for official release on the 20th of next month.

Meanwhile, BTS will hold a large-scale free performance titled 〈BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang〉 in the Gwanghwamun Square area the day after the album release on March 21. This performance will be streamed live worldwide on the online video service (OTT) Netflix.
