Actor Jung Il-woo has officially begun his journey as an investor.
On the 20th, Green Narae Media stated, "Actor Jung Il-woo has chosen 〈Sentimental Value〉 as his second investment work." The second investment work chosen by Jung Il-woo, following the body horror romance 〈Together〉, is the new film 〈Sentimental Value〉 directed by Joachim Trier, which has been nominated in nine categories, including Best Picture, at the upcoming 98th Academy Awards, following its Jury Prize win at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.

The film begins with the director father, Gustav, who left home long ago, coming to find his daughter Nora, who has become an actress, and suggesting her for the lead role in his new film. The awkward father-daughter relationship and the medium of film that bridges the gap delicately explores family conflicts, trauma, and the healing process. Notably, director Joachim Trier, who formed a strong fanbase in Korea with 〈Worst Person in the World〉, collaborates once again with his muse Renate Reinsve, while actors with significant presence like Stellan Skarsgård and Elle Fanning join to enhance the film's density. The fact that Jung Il-woo, who has lived a fierce life as an actor, feels a special affection for this work that deals with the connection between director and actor is an intriguing point of interest outside the film as well.
The film 〈Sentimental Value〉 was released on the 18th and is currently showing in theaters.
