〈Master of the World〉 has announced another good news with its invitation to the Beijing International Film Festival.

Director Yoon Ga-eun's 〈Master of the World〉 announced its invitation to the Beijing International Film Festival on March 9. The Beijing International Film Festival, recognized as one of the two major international film festivals representing the Chinese film industry alongside the Shanghai International Film Festival, stated, "Yoon Ga-eun's unique delicate feminine perspective vividly portrays the inner lives of girls. It is a work that kindly yet powerfully captures the process of choosing to become their own masters when the world tries to define them," explaining the reason for the invitation of 〈Master of the World〉.

〈Master of the World〉 had previously announced a local release in China after a Chinese distributor was confirmed, amidst a freeze on Korean films entering China following the Korean ban, and this invitation to the Beijing International Film Festival is expected to further heat up interest within China.

〈Master of the World〉 is set to be released in South Korea on October 22, 2025, and has successfully gained long-term screenings through word of mouth, surpassing 200,000 cumulative viewers.
