Heeseung, a member of the group ENHYPEN, has announced his departure from the team to start anew as a solo artist.

The agency Belift Lab officially announced on the 10th through fan platform Weverse, "Heeseung is becoming independent from the ENHYPEN team," and "ENHYPEN will continue to operate as a 6-member group from future official schedules."

Belift Lab explained the background of this decision, stating, "We had in-depth discussions about each member's envisioned future and the direction of the team, and during that process, we confirmed that Heeseung's musical aspirations are clear, and we decided to respect that." They added, "This will be an opportunity for both the group ENHYPEN and solo artist Heeseung to take a new leap forward." Heeseung, who has left the team, will remain under Belift Lab and is expected to engage in activities as a solo singer, including the release of personal albums.

ENHYPEN is a group that debuted through the Mnet audition program 〈I-LAND〉 in 2020. They released their mini-album 'THE SIN: VANISH' in January this year and recently conducted a world tour 'WALK THE LINE'.
