‘The Song You Left Behind’ Premier Screening Held Simultaneously with Japanese Release & Before Domestic Release!

The youth romance 〈The Song You Left Behind〉 featuring the boy who writes poetry, ‘Haruto’, and the girl who paints the world with song, ‘Ayane’, will hold a premier screening from March 20 (Friday) to March 22 (Sunday) for three days. 

This screening will take place at major locations of multiplexes such as CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox, providing a special opportunity for domestic audiences to be the first to see the film in theaters in line with the local release schedule in Japan. On March 20 (Friday), a special screening will be held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, Lotte Cinema World Tower, and Megabox COEX, which will include a greeting video featuring the lead actors Michieda Shunsuke and Nukumi Meru. Following that, from March 21 (Saturday) to March 22 (Sunday), general screenings without the greeting video will take place at major locations nationwide including CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, Yeongdeungpo, Gangnam, Seomyeon, Wangsimni, Hongdae, Incheon, Lotte Cinema World Tower, Konkuk University Station, Dongseongro, Sillim, and Megabox COEX, Hongdae, Suwon AK Plaza, and Daejeon Jungang-ro, generating excitement among movie fans even before the release. 

In particular, weekend screening attendees will receive a ‘guitar pick’ merchandise that captures the film's emotions on a first-come, first-served basis upon ticket verification. The guitar pick is a symbolic item that appears in the process of the two protagonists creating ‘their own song’, making it a special merchandise that embodies the film's emotions. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience the film's emotions in advance through this premier screening while also obtaining a special commemorative item to cherish the moments of the film. 〈The Song You Left Behind〉 will be released domestically on April 1 (Wednesday).
