Seo Kang Joon & Ahn Eun Jin Become a Long-Term Couple After 10 Years... KBS 'Another Love Besides You' Casting Confirmed

Actors Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin will unite as a long-term couple of 10 years through KBS 2TV's new drama.

On the 17th, KBS 2TV officially announced the casting of actors Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin as the male and female leads of the new weekend mini-series 〈Another Love Besides You〉, set to air in the second half of this year. 〈Another Love Besides You〉 is a realistic melodrama that tells the story of a couple who, after 10 years of dating, confronts unfamiliar emotions.

In the drama, Seo Kang Joon plays Nam Goong Ho, a deputy in the Hummin Bakery TF team, who possesses charm and humor. Having faced the hardships of the world early on due to a mother who always causes trouble, he harbors deep feelings for his girlfriend, Lee Mi Do, who has always cried by his side. Ahn Eun Jin portrays Lee Mi Do, a film director who gained attention for her graduation project but fell into a slump after hitting the wall of reality. Having shared deep feelings after experiencing each other's lows for a long time, the two are expected to compellingly portray the psychology of lovers wandering between unfamiliar emotions during what is called the 'relationship contemplation period.'

The production team expressed their anticipation, stating, "As this work deals with a realistic love story, we are confident to have two actors who can authentically convey the characters' emotions." The collaboration of director Hwang Seung Gi, recognized for his sensuous directing through 〈The Wedding Battle〉 and 〈The Declaration of the War〉, and writer Yoo Soo Ji, who is challenging her first mini-series, 〈Another Love Besides You〉, has begun full-scale filming and is set to air on KBS 2TV in the second half of this year, with a global release through the streaming service Amazon Prime Video for viewers worldwide.
