'Park Min-young'·'Yook Sung-jae'·'Go Soo', SBS’s new drama 'Nine to Six' confirmed for casting… A romance return after 15 years
SBS officially announced the lineup for 'Nine to Six', a new 'office romance' slated to take over viewers’ homes this coming fall. The starring cast will feature 'Park Min-young', 'Yook Sung-jae', and 'Go Soo', completing a perfect lineup.
'Nine to Six' delicately captures the emotional changes a workaholic deputy head of the legal team, 'Kang Yi-ji' (played by 'Park Min-young'), goes through after meeting an affectionate younger-man intern, 'Han Seon-woo' (played by 'Yook Sung-jae'), and an ideal division head, 'Park Hyun-tae' (played by 'Go Soo'), in a reality where such encounters are rarely seen.
In the drama, 'Park Min-young' takes on the role of Deputy Head of the Legal Team at Chronicle Motors Korea, a chronically driven legal professional who dismisses dating and marriage as mere hormone effects—once again proving her unique 'Roco Queen' status. Facing her, 'Yook Sung-jae' plays a fresh younger-man intern who brightens the story with warmth that seeps into everyday life.
Above all, public attention and critical interest are especially focused on this project because 'Go Soo' chose to return to a 'romance drama' for the first time in 15 years. The division head he plays, 'Park Hyun-tae', is a key figure who evaluates others purely based on ability, simultaneously driving both tension and excitement throughout the drama.
With three actors who bring together the full set—solid acting skills, overwhelming visuals, and perfect chemistry—this combination is expected to create the best 'office romance' of the coming fall.
