'BTS' ('BTS') reaffirmed their 'global stature' as they received a state-level welcome from the Mexican government. BigHit Music announced on June 6 (local time) that 'BTS' visited the presidential office in Mexico City, held a conversation with President 'Claudia Sheinbaum' ('Claudia Sheinbaum'), and received a government commemorative plaque. The Mexican government referred to them as 'distinguished visitors', praising the way their music inspires younger generations and highlights their contributions to building a community centered on 'peace' and 'diversity'. The meeting, which lasted about 40 minutes, wrapped up successfully in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

When President Sheinbaum and the 'BTS' members appeared on the balcony of the presidential palace, 'Zócalo Square' was packed with about 50,000 'ARMYs' ('ARMY') and citizens. Cheers from fans overwhelmed with emotion filled central Mexico City. The visit has also drawn attention for its massive 'economic ripple effects'. The Mexico City Chamber of Commerce analyzed that three consecutive sold-out concerts to be held at the Estadio GNP Seguros would generate about $107 million (approximately ₩155.7 billion) in 'economic impact'.

Earlier, President Sheinbaum had directly previewed 'BTS''s visit through a regular press conference, saying she highly valued the 'friendship' and 'message of peace' they deliver. Meanwhile, 'BTS' are proving their worldwide 'syndrome' by simultaneously topping both the 'Billboard 200' and 'Hot 100'—the main U.S. Billboard charts—with their regular album 'Arirang' ('ARIRANG') and title track 'Swim' ('SWIM').
