A new film by John Carney, a movie director beloved by Koreans, is coming to theaters across South Korea in September.
〈Sing Again〉 released a launch trailer on July 27 and confirmed its September release in South Korea. 〈Sing Again〉 is a film about two people whose lives, paused in order to reclaim lost songs, begin to sing again, and it is the latest work by director John Carney, who directed 〈Once〉, 〈Begin Again〉, and 〈Sing Street〉.

The released trailer follows the process by which 'Rick' (Paul Rudd), who keeps guarding an unknown stage while holding onto his dream of becoming a pop star, and 'Danny' (Nick Jonas), a pop star who has lost confidence from his position at the top, gradually seep into each other’s lives. While the comedic images are strong, the chemistry between Paul Rudd, who actually performs as a singer on stage, and Nick Jonas, who works as a member of one of the world’s top boy bands, is expected to draw viewers in. Also, as a work from John Carney, known for capturing audiences with outstanding OST music every time, it promises a soundtrack that will linger long after you leave the theater and signals yet another potential sensation.
〈Sing Again〉 opens in theaters nationwide on Sept. 2.
