The psychological horror thriller film 〈Razor〉 has confirmed its theatrical release in the second half of this year.

According to the production company on the 8th, 〈Razor〉 wrapped up all filming in March and completed principal photography. The film follows a novelist who has carried past wounds and has been building a new life at a country mansion, spending time in an isolated space with a couple who arrives for a holiday. 〈Razor〉 is directed by Kim Jeong-hun, who helmed the film 〈The Dogs That Hunt〉.

No Jeong-ui will play the lead character ‘Su-yeon.’ No Jeong-ui will transform into a novelist who lives with past trauma and lead the story at its center. The role of ‘Jin-ji,’ the counterpart, has been cast with Kasamatsu Sho, Japan’s rising star. Kasamatsu Sho portrays a caring lover who stays by Su-yeon’s side, forming chemistry with No Jeong-ui.

The supporting cast is also impressive. Byeon Yo-han joins as a character with a strong presence, adding weight to the film, while ITZY member Shin Ryujin expands her acting career through the role of Su-yeon’s friend ‘Mina.’

In the stills released together, a tension-filled two-shot of Su-yeon and Jin-ji and separate cuts capturing the complicated emotions of people inside the isolated mansion were unveiled, hinting at the psychological immersion the film will deliver.

Dealing with the line between trauma and fear, the film 〈Razor〉 is set to meet audiences sometime in the second half of the year.
