Moka of ILLIT Returns to “Music Bank” Today (May 29) After Recovering Her Health as a Full Five-Member Unit Restarts

Moka, a member of the group ILLIT (ILLIT), which had temporarily halted activities due to health concerns, is set to return to fans.

Returning to Music Shows After a Month On May 29, her agency, Belif Lab, officially announced the return to activities via the fan community platform Weverse, saying, “Moka will join from the final week of music-show activities onward.” Previously, Moka had shown sudden symptoms of acute health problems ahead of the group’s comeback for mini album No. 4 on April 20 last month and temporarily paused activities. As a result, ILLIT continued with a four-member system for the mini album No. 4, “MAMMILAPINATAPAI,” excluding Moka, but with this announcement of her return, Moka will fully and immediately rejoin the group’s activities starting with the stage of KBS2’s “Music Bank,” which airs later that afternoon.

Reflecting Medical Staff’s Assessment and Moka’s Strong Determination According to Belif Lab, Moka has focused on recovery by taking a break and combining treatment and rest while putting all schedules on hold. She received a final medical assessment that she can resume activities within a range that will not overexert her. Above all, the agency said the artist’s own determination was very strong to get on stage and meet fans directly before the mini album No. 4 activities wrap up. After deep discussion, the agency decided to have her participate in activities. Still, the agency plans to operate some future schedules flexibly, prioritizing the artist’s condition above all else.

Will Skip “Weverse Con” Due to Lack of Practice With Moka’s return, ILLIT will again present a full five-member lineup. In particular, with the group’s latest activity track, “It’s Me,” performing well and drawing positive responses in the upper ranks of major music platforms, fans’ expectations for the synergy of the full five-member unit are also rising. However, the agency said that Moka will not participate in the “2026 Weverse Con Festival” scheduled for June 6. The agency added that, given that it was difficult to join stage rehearsal during the activity hiatus, it was decided that she would make the final decision not to attend.
