Global pop superstar Taylor Swift, 36, turned the NBA championship crowd into a sea of style amid a hectic schedule that saw her move between a Pixar animation premiere stage and a historic induction ceremony at the Hall of Fame.
■ “Taylor Knicks?”… A clever “New York Knicks” look made with close pals
On the 11th (local time), according to U.S. media outlets including USA Today and ESPN, Swift watched the matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks at the 2026 NBA Finals Game 4 on Tuesday night, the 10th, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
That day, Swift appeared alongside Alana Haim and Este Haim—members of Haim, a band she counts as a musical partner and close friend. The trio drew attention as they took the spotlight in playful pun T-shirts that combined blue and orange, the Knicks’ signature colors.
Swift’s shirt featured the phrase “Stevie Knicks”, a parody of legendary rock vocalist Stevie Nicks, whom she has cited as a musical idol. Alana wore “Knickelback”, a jab at rock band Nickelback, and Este wore “Nickole Kidman”, parodying actor Nicole Kidman, helping them emerge as the best-dressed fashionistas in the arena.

■ Hollywood A-listers including Ben Stiller and Mariska Hargitay take over courtside
Seated in VIP courtside seats, they held cups and caught the game’s rhythm while cheering along to a remix version of pop star Pitbull’s hit “Hotel Room Service.” Right next to them, Hollywood acting powerhouse Ben Stiller sat side by side and chatted.
Notably, in the seat immediately next to Swift on the opposite side was Mariska Hargitay, a new Broadway star and the lead of the midseason drama “Law & Order: SVU,” drawing extra attention. Hargitay is the character whose name is the inspiration behind “Olivia Benson,” one of Swift’s pet cats, giving fans a special treat. Beyond them, the stands also captured a lineup of major stars that felt straight out of an awards show, including the Kylie Jenner–Timothée Chalamet couple, Adam Sandler and his wife, director Spike Lee, Jerry Seinfeld, and Chris Rock.
This isn’t the first time Swift has loved the NBA. In May, she watched the Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks alongside her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce. At the time, Kelce cheered for his hometown team, Cleveland, and when he was shown on the jumbotron, he took a quick beer shot to rally the crowd’s cheers. Swift, sitting nearby, smiled widely and clapped—turning heads in the process.

■ From joining the “Toy Story 5” OST to a historic induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame
The basketball outing happened less than 24 hours after Swift made a surprise appearance at Pixar’s mega-hit animated film “Toy Story 5” premiere in Los Angeles.
Swift doesn’t have a voice cameo in the film, but she set the tone for the soundtrack with her emotionally driven country radio single, the new song “I Knew It, I Knew You.” At the premiere, Swift also brought an original “Toy Story” VHS tape she had treasured for years, receiving handwritten autographs from lead actors including Tom Hanks and from the production team, earning a perfect verification of “successful fandom” status. She also praised the movie to audiences, saying, “It makes me the happiest person in the world to be a very small part of this incredible film universe,” and added, “Part 5 is the best ‘Toy Story’ movie of my life.”
Swift is currently set to attend a commemorative dinner ahead of her induction into the “Songwriters Hall of Fame” in New York. Through this induction, she will etch an immortal record as the youngest woman ever inducted as a composer and songwriter.
With 14 Grammy Awards to her name, Swift joined living music legends—including Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the legendary rock band KISS, Alanis Morissette, and Kenny Loggins—on the 2026 induction list. She submitted a total of five songs, including iconic tracks that represent her musical journey—“Love Story,” “Blank Space,” “Anti-Hero,” “The Last Great American Dynasty,” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” widely considered one of her fans’ biggest heart-pullers—as judging songs, and received official recognition of her musical depth.
