〈Night Shift Incident〉 was announced for release in South Korea this coming July. 〈Night Shift Incident〉 is based on a game of the same name created by Japan’s game developer, ChillasArt, and follows the events that occur during a night-shift part-time job when the worker encounters something strange. The game of the same name won major attention around the world thanks to its distinctive visuals that evoke past retro games through a first-person perspective.

The teaser poster and POV game trailer for 〈Night Shift Incident〉, unveiled alongside the South Korea release announcement, bring the game’s atmosphere while triggering even more realistic scares through a live-action adaptation, sharpening audiences’ curiosity. In particular, the POV game trailer hooks horror fans in an instant with a sensation that it’s like you’re directly witnessing the scene from the first-person perspective of a worker alone at a convenience store—going about daily life—until increasingly strange things start happening.

Directed by Jiro Nagae of 〈Tokyo Ghost Story〉, 〈Night Shift Incident〉 will be available in theaters in July 2026.
