The era’s top pop icon, Olivia Rodrigo, who swept the Grammy Awards, has officially announced the debut of her long-cherished music festival, ‘Daisy Chain Fields’. The event draws global attention not only for its large-scale festival format, but also for its bold lineup consisting entirely of female artists—along with a charity mission built to create good influence.

■ “A long dream came true”… Olivia Rodrigo’s heartfelt words
According to reports by overseas media on the 22nd (local time), Rodrigo shared on her SNS channel, “I’m so happy, more than ever, to be able to share this news. I’ve dreamed for years about holding this festival, and it’s finally happening—it’s just so breathtaking,” announcing the festival’s official launch.
The biggest feature of this festival is that 100% of the net proceeds are donated in full to charities that work to advance the rights and improve the health and welfare of women and girls. The festival partners with nonprofit organizations working to support abortion rights, maternal health, economic self-reliance, and domestic-violence prevention—such as Planned Parenthood, Baby2Baby, and the Abortion Rights Center—and runs a variety of education and participation programs on site together with them.

■ An ultra-premium lineup of ‘100% female artists’ that spans generations
‘Daisy Chain Fields’ fills both stages exclusively with female musicians—from rising stars that are shaking up the global pop market right now to legendary maestros.
Main lineup: Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Mitski, DoeChii, global girl group KATSEYE, Garbage, Bikini Kill, Santigold, The Breeders, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Quiet Light, Not For Radio
Special guests: Stevie Nicks, an inductee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs; and legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan
■ Riding the momentum of a new album into a festival… queueing efforts flagged for June 24
In a mission statement, Rodrigo said, “Daisy (daisy flowers) are wild and beautiful. And when they’re tied together in a chain, they show a toughness that never breaks.” She added, “I believe joy, community, and music can be the driving force that leads meaningful social change. I want to sing hope with the wonderful women artists who are my heroes and friends.”
Following her regular third album, ‘You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love’, entering No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and setting the record for three consecutive Billboard chart-topping runs, she also proved her capability as a major festival host.
Co-produced by C3 Presents and Live Nation, this ‘Daisy Chain Fields’ festival will be held for just one day on Aug. 29 at Irvine’s ‘Great Park’ in California. The presale for official ticket sales begins through the official website starting at 10 a.m. on June 24 (Pacific Time), with intense ticket wars expected among Gen Z fans worldwide.
