‘You Like Me’ Goes Global! ‘Wild Sing’ Confirmed for Worldwide Release on Netflix on July 31

Wild Sing〉​ is a comedy film about a three-member co-ed dance group, ‘Triangle,’ that once swept through the K-pop world but finds itself caught up in an unexpected incident and disbands overnight. Now, it launches a reckless challenge to seize the chance at a comeback it has been waiting for—20 years in the making.


〈Wild Sing〉 is a project that director Son Jae-gon teamed up on with a roster of filmmakers behind 〈Extreme Job〉 as well as 〈Sweet and Savage Lovers〉, 〈Two-Tiered Villain〉, and others—works known for original humor and solid directing. The film earned praise from Korean audiences for its nonstop laughs in unpredictable situations and the trance-like synergy created by characters with strong individuality. Adding to the buzz, it also sparked fresh interest among viewers as Kang Dong-won, Uhm Tae-gu, and Park Ji-hyun—who came together in the 2000s co-ed dance group ‘Triangle’—as well as Oh Jung-se, who takes on the role of ‘Sung-gon,’ the original “ear-tingling boyfriend” and the ill-fated ballad prince. For audiences worldwide, Netflix supports subtitles in 32 languages including French, Portuguese, and Chinese, along with dubbed tracks in 15 languages including English, Spanish, and Japanese. Ahead of the release of 〈Wild Sing〉 on Netflix, Lotte Entertainment said, “We want to expand the intense excitement audiences experienced in domestic theaters into the global market through Netflix.
