tvN Releases 'Four Hands' Poster Showing Tension Between Song Kang and Lee Jun-young

tvN released a 'Twenty-seven' poster and motion poster for its new weekend drama 〈Four Hands〉 on Aug. 4, highlighting the chilly standoff between leads Song Kang and Lee Jun-young.

〈Four Hands〉 follows friendship, love, rivalry and coming-of-age among musical prodigies who meet at an arts high school. It tells the story of perfectionist pianist Kang Bi-o (Song Kang), who has followed an elite track since childhood, and instinctive prodigy Choi Jeong-yo (Lee Jun-young), who took up piano later and transfers to Korean Arts High School, where the two become friends.

The 'Twenty-seven' poster shows the two staring past each other with icy expressions, set against a poster texture that appears torn and reassembled. Superimposed is the phrase "The moment the notes touch, a resonant dissonance," raising questions about what turned their once-bright friendship at 17 into conflict by age 27.

The motion poster released alongside it underscores the two characters' sharply contrasting performance styles. Kang Bi-o is defined by precise, flawless playing, while Choi Jeong-yo stands out for his untamed, instinctive genius — a contrast that hints at their clashing personalities and storylines.

The show's producers said, "The key point of the series is how the harmony that began when they were 17 turns into dissonance at 27," and added, "Please watch how the two characters' paths have unfolded over the past 10 years." The new tvN weekend drama 〈Four Hands〉 starring Song Kang and Lee Jun-young premieres on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 9:10 p.m.
