Megabox to Exclusively Carry Live Theatrical Broadcast of aespa's Gocheok Sky Dome Concert

Multiplex chain Megabox will exclusively carry a live theatrical broadcast of girl group aespa's concert at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome in South Korean theaters.

Megabox said it will carry a live theatrical broadcast of the Aug. 7 opening-night show from aespa's new world tour, '2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR -SYNK : COMPLaeXITY-,' which will be held Aug. 7 and 8 at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome. The concert marks aespa's first performance at Gocheok Sky Dome since the group's debut and opens the new world tour, drawing intense interest from fans.

The live broadcast will be screened at four Megabox locations: COEX, Guui East Pole, Mokdong and Sangam World Cup Stadium. In particular, at the Guui East Pole, Mokdong and Sangam World Cup Stadium locations, AI spatial audio technology will be used for the first time in a South Korean movie theater. Megabox said the technology will deliver aespa's distinctive artistic world and performances in crisp 4K picture and three-dimensional sound, giving audiences a more immersive experience that aims to recreate the feel of the live venue.

Megabox has also prepared a special event for moviegoers: all moviegoers attending that day will receive a postcard commemorating the launch of aespa's world tour.
