BIGBANG to Stage Media Exhibition Marking 20th Anniversary Debut: “Cosmos” Set for Jamsil and City Hall Station

A 20-year arc that transcends time and space... BIGBANG media exhibition “Cosmos” to be held

The group “BIGBANG” will unveil “Cosmos” (COSMOS), a media exhibition that brings together cutting-edge technology to mark the 20th anniversary of its debut in the middle of Seoul’s downtown area. More than a simple retrospective, it is a monumental project that visualizes a cosmic worldview spanning the past, the present, and the future.

The exhibition will unfold in two stages. First, it kicks off the PREQUEL exhibition at Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul. Then, it reveals the grand reality of the show in the underground idle space connecting City Hall Station and Euljiro Entrance Station, “City Hall Station Funstation–Dudududo SEOUL” (dududo SEOUL). The detailed exhibition schedule remains under wraps, further fueling fans’ curiosity.

Creative M, the organizer, said, “Over the past 20 years, we reinterpreted the unique music world that “BIGBANG” built, and the narrative with fans, through the state-of-the-art “Enter-tech”.” The exhibition space is filled with immersive media art that pulls together innovative technologies, including AI (artificial intelligence), real-time holograms, XR (extended reality), AR (augmented reality), and next-generation 3D motion graphics. The exhibition title “Cosmos” means connection, relationships, and persistence, and it carries a philosophical message of “everything that exists in the past and present—and will last forever even into the future.”

The project was created through close collaboration between the organizing companies, “YG Entertainment” and Creative M. In particular, Creative M previously led the successful solo media exhibition “Ubermensch” by G-DRAGON across 11 cities worldwide, drawing an audience of no less than 250,000 people. Against that backdrop, industry expectations for this exhibition are also at a peak.

Meanwhile, the “Cosmos” exhibition is a core pillar of “BIGBANG”’s mega project marking its 20th debut anniversary. It is expected to connect organically with a large-scale fan event to be held on the Han River area on the 19th, and with the world tour “XX : Cosmos” (XX : COSMOS), which opens in full splendor in Goyang from the 21st to the 23rd, delivering an unprecedented visual and audio catharsis to global music fans.
