The Busan International Film Festival, preparing for its opening, has unveiled this year’s poster.

Now in its 31st edition, the Busan International Film Festival revealed the poster for the 31st Busan International Film Festival on Aug. 7. This official poster was planned and designed by art director Choi Sun-dae, who has worked as an art director since the second Busan International Film Festival and has designed both posters and festival spaces.

The poster for the 31st Busan International Film Festival, which spotlights the key motif ‘Gun-sang (群像),’ captures depictions of diverse audiences that symbolize the many encounters and moments drawing attention. By portraying the stories of audiences experiencing the festival in their own ways as a single landscape, it conveys a message that a multitude of audience experiences come together to complete one film festival.

The 31st Busan International Film Festival will run for 10 days from Tuesday, Oct. 6 through Thursday, Oct. 15, at and around the Busan Cinema Center. The opening ceremony will feature actress Kim Min-ha as the sole MC. In addition, actress Yang Qiu-kyung has been announced as the 2026 winner of the Asian Filmmaker Award.
